Yeah moderation for social media has went down the drain in recent years.
I recently had my Discord account wrongfully banned for the same reason and they won't even tell me what I said or sent got me banned 😭

The absolute worst part is these damn corporations do NOT have any form of direct communication. Discord doesn’t have a customer support phone or email. Same with Instagram. It’s incredibly scummy and irritating.

Here in America, we are obviously capitalistic. As in, money connects everthing. Well we are late stage in capitalism. If you know of min-maxing, this should make sense. But if not, the elite are trying to make as much money as possible. Think about when you play games or sports and get competitive, and you REALLY wanna win, right?
Well with corporations, winning is getting as much money as possible. Well, that means corporations don't care about the people at all.
I recommend getting into the Fediverse. You can learn more at https://fedi.tips/ but in short, federated means multiple websites can connect to each other (Imagine if you can make comments on Youtube videos from your Soundcloud account), while decentralized means people can make their own instance (server) of a website.
A good example would be Java Minecraft servers. You can use the code to setup your own server, and invite friends and all that. That doesn't mean you own ALL of Minecraft, or control ALL Minecraft servers. You only own and control your own server.

@AWildDomino The most I got out of Discord support wise was them saying I did violate the child safety guidelines but never providing how.
Ontop of this Twitter has me locked out of the acc after dming several artists to join Bluesky and no matter what I give it keeps saying "we cannot verify this is you" I GAVE YOU MORE THEN ENOUGH INFO YOU TWAT
THATS SO ANNOYING UGH. Literally what happened with me and Instagram. I gave them a selfie and my actual fucking ID card and they declined it on one account, then emailed me that they couldn’t accept it with another one of my accounts. I deleted the app.
This is just a lot of proof that Newgrounds is one of the best and honest social medias in terms of moderation

I’m really sorry that happened… AI moderation is faulty across the board, but unfortunately I don’t think anyone’s getting rid of it. It will continue to make mistakes and ban people for absolutely unjustifiable reasons on everything that it’s used for.
I know what it’s like to lose a lot of work over years and I’m sorry this happened to you too… love you <3
@AWildDomino I gave Twitter several phone numbers that I have used, several passwords, my email, dm's i've sent and received and even my birthdate and name. Nothing.
Ontop of this SOMEHOW my email was disconnected and changed because when trying to log in on an incognito tab It let me make a new account which i swiftly deactivated in hopes of getting my old back.
I remember kind of a related issue that was common. I remember updating my birth year to the correct one sometime ago on Twitter and then my account got suspended right after for breaking the age requirement. I don’t remember what the age limit was but I was like 15 back then and iirc it was like 13+ ? Idk but I ended up getting my account quietly suspended and then eventually it just got deleted entirely as the email associated with it was free to use for a new account

It sucks to see Instagram end up like this, because YouTube has had the same problem for so long. This kind of "moderation" has been doing so much damage.

Thank you so much 🧡. I really do hate the overuse and "trust" of these AI services that corporations keep shoving into our throats. It's good for nobody and bad for everybody. I'm much calmer now and even excited as I plan to start anew through a BlueSky account. It may not feel the same but it's definitely a revival regardless. And I really value my connections on Newgrounds! I'm so blessed and thankful to have such nice people follow me and engage in my posts 🧡

If it’s using ai and you get banned, then it’s not the place for you. I completely feel you bro, I’ve seen vids of YouTube’s new ai mod and people get banned for child abuse, over a broken microphone. This is why AI is a terrible thing. IT MUST BE MANAGED! There’s a reason why we have human mods on Newgrounds, because they won’t say your a predator, unless you are actually a predator.
So yeah, give it the middle finger, and never go back, you are worth much more then those idiots… + insta reels and the comments are wild bro.

Dude for real, AI is insanely unreliable and a lazy way for companies to handle their sites. I never really interacted with the inhumane comment sections on reels, or watched reels in general. But yeah fuck this app dude. I started hating it more and more when Meta AI kept being shoved down our throats. And the algorithm is anything but good.
